The Osprey Management Group was formed in 2015 by a group of business people with strong connections to the Workington area and a shared ambition to purchase and regenerate a number of local businesses for the benefit of the communities they serve.

At the current time, as well as offering asset management and services, the Osprey Management Group’s ambition is to purchase and regenerate local hospitality businesses, relaunching, refurbishing and then managing them to a high standard such that they trade both profitably and sustainably.

The aim is to offer not only an excellent service to locals and visitors alike, but also lasting employment for local people and an enduring legacy of community focus.

The inns involved so far are all pivotal in the lives of the areas they serve, at a time when many village pubs struggle to survive; the group aims to maintain and cherish that place at the heart of the community.

Osprey Management Group uses guidance and best practice from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, which is a non-profit organisation, helping food businesses to work towards sustainability.
