Community matters to us
Our properties are at the heart of their communities but to us that means more than just location.
We’re pleased to support our local community champions doing their bit to improve people’s lives and also to do what we can ourselves to make a difference to those around us.
See some of our current initiatives below:
Community Fund
We have a fund set aside for community or charitable purposes and each year we’re able to make contributions to help improve lives in our local community.
Please understand that we have a limit to what we are able to commit and all requests are considered on an individual basis.
If you are aware of a local charity, individual or cause who may benefit from our support, then please complete our funding application form (PDF) or here in Word format and email it finance[at]ospreyinns.co.uk (or email us if you have enquiries about this process) and we will see if we can help.

Whitehaven AFC Under-8 Girls
We’re delighted to be able to offer sponsorship to the Under-8 Girls team at Whitehaven AFC, who’ll wear our Osprey Management Group logo on their strip this season. We wish the team and all involved every success. Go girls! Find out more about the team.
Whitehaven Sea Cadets
Our community fund recently helped out a really worthwhile local cause, the Whitehaven Sea Cadets. Our donation to them funded new signage for their building, to publicise their presence and make them easier to find for prospective new members.
Seaton Rangers
Another local recipient of support from our charitable fund was Seaton Rangers ARLFC. We’re pleased to support our local sporting groups and wish them success this season.
Healthy Hopes

Workington Reds Junior Under-7s
We are delighted to be able to sponsor this great local sports team with their kits and equipment for the coming season, as part of our ongoing commitment to the help within the local community where possible. We wish them, of course, every success!
