New Tourism Business Award

The Edge Wins “New Tourism Business of the Year” at the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2026

Osprey Management Group is delighted to announce that The Edge, Whitehaven has been named New Tourism Business of the Year at the prestigious Cumbria Tourism Awards 2026.

Osprey Management Group joined the project with the Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners in 2023 and, together with our trusted interior design partner Fidget Design, delivered the full interior fit‑out of the hotel — including its 16 guest bedrooms, coffee shop, meeting facilities and The Lookout.

The Edge now provides employment for 18 local people, and this award is a testament to their dedication, professionalism and passion. We are immensely proud of every member of the team.

This recognition reflects the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved in creating and operating The Edge. We remain committed to delivering outstanding hospitality, exceptional customer service and facilities that make The Edge a destination of which Whitehaven and West Cumbria can be proud.
